This is the home page for the Lasair Users Group (LUG), which is being set up at the time of writing (June 2024). In the past, community input to Lasair has been through a series of ad-hoc focus groups, but as we move rapidly towards beginning our role as a Community Broker for the Vera Rubin Observatory, we wish to establish a Users Group which provides feedback and advice via regular structured meetings and a dedicated SLACK discussion channel.

Current status
We are currently inviting expressions of interest for possible involvement in the LUG. If you think this might be you, please email Andy Lawrence (al@roe.ac.uk) and Roy Williams (roy@roe.ac.uk) stating your interest, and briefly explaining your relevant background and why you are interested. Deadline is Monday July 22nd.
The commitment is likely to be two meetings per year (one in person and one online) plus sporadic involvement in the SLACK discussion channel.
