Introduction

The 2021 LSST:UK All Hands Meeting will be virtual, with 3 half-day sessions. The emphasis is on inclusivity, communication and increasing involvement.

We have a number of ways that you can participate actively. All talks will be relatively informal, aimed at stimulating open discussion and broad involvement, which will be supported through use of a virtual GatherTown venue, in addition to Zoom.

Call for Contributions

We are soliciting a variety of contributions to the Programme:

• 15-min Contributed Talks in the plenary session: e.g. scientific plans, follow-up programmes, maximising UK science gains from the Rubin LSST and other UK facilities 

• Focus Sessions: we will provide either a Zoom room for talks or a space in GatherTown for discussion, and you arrange the rest.

• One-slide Presentations: to be presented as a 3-minute "flash talk" and/or as a poster in GatherTown.

The Call for Contributions page provides further details of how to propose one of these contributions. We hope that the range of contributions will allow everyone to participate in the meeting, and we particularly encourage attendees to provide a one-slide presentation (either for a flash talk or as a poster), as these will provide the opportunity for you to give an informal update on your work, advertising who you are and what you are planning for the Rubin LSST.

Meeting Points of Contact

For all LSST:UK meetings there are two Meeting Points of Contacts (typically, one female and one male)  to whom attendees may report any concerns they have regarding the behaviour of other attendees, given the LSST:UK Code of Conduct. They may be approached via Zoom chat, by email, or called via a Skype Number, which they will have redirected to forward to their own mobile phone for the duration of the meeting. It is possible that both may be unavailable for some part of the meeting, so contact the second if you receive no response from the first you try.
